Afrofuturism is a cultural aesthetic, philosophy of science and history philosophy that explores the connected relationship of African diaspora culture with technology/futuristic themes. It aims to celebrate and explore black culture through technoculture, fiction and fantasy.
The aim of this festival is to bring together the youth of South Africa to commemorate the beauty of African culture and envision black futures that stem from Afro-diasporic experiences.
